Race Driver: GRID - save game download

So, played Codemasters Race Driver: GRID and to be honest, I wasn’t expecting too much, having played previous versions on the xbox, they were no GT beater.  I was however quite impressed when I started to play this game, it’s very slick!  There is a real nice polished feel to everything in the game from the soothing menu music to the very simple menu interface.  The visuals in the game are perhaps some of the best that I’ve ever come across in a codemasters game, of course to get the best, you’ll need a decent graphics card.  After playing my way through the game, I was always taken back with the visual quality, often watching the replays to see the car from every angle, much like I did with GT, though the replays on GRID seem so much more realistic with the camera wobble and everything.

I’ve got a save game that you can download and use buy lots of cars etc test all the tracks without having to do all the hard work of getting to the top, of course, this save game will only work on the PC.

Race Driver: GRID PC savegame (1.5MB, MSI), just download and run it, when you start GRID next time, my save game will automatically be loaded, be careful though, this save game may interfere with your own older save game, so make a backup before you do anything.

Need to buy a copy of the game? No problem, here’s a link on amazon to get Race Drive: GRID fix: Buy Race Driver: GRID (PC DVD), it even has free delivery! Bargain!

It’s a cool wee gadget, I’ve highly recommend getting one. Only thing is, it doesn’t come with much software, so download some before you buy it. not only does it have a full screen, but it’s got a keyboard, bluetooth and built in wireless etc. fantastic with the wireless broadband that you’d have at home! Connect it to your pc and you can view your files over the network! You can even use windows media server to stream the content of nearly any windows to the device from your main pc. Magic.

Milestones

It’s been a while since I updated some of this stuff, but a few things have happened. Firstly, my car, has just reached 160,000 miles, and it’s still going strong, hasn’t missed a beat since I got brand new in 2000. A Peugeot 106 Zest 3 Diesel (1.5D), sadly they don’t make them anymore, but I can vouch for their build quality and robustness, and general fuel efficiency. Of course, I can talk, I do 24,000 approx miles a year on a motorway, what would I know about driving? While we’re on the subject, I had to change the last remaining original tyre on the car (a rear one), a Michelin one, which has stuck with me for the whole 160,000 mile journey, it’s true! I told the guy who changed it that it had done 160,000 miles, I don’t think he believed me…

Battlefield 2

Has sucked me in big time. I’ve spent a total of 76 hours in the game since I first got it late last year when it came out, I highly recommend buying it, once you do, you’ll have to make an account, then when you play for a while, go to the BF2S website and check your stats! While you’re there, compare my profile with yours!

fuel economy tips

Want to know how to reduce the amount of fuel you use in your car? Got tips to pass onto others? Have a look at the Fuel Price website, I initially it started when the price of fuel was rocketing towards the start of the Iraq conflict (notice the way I didn’t use the word war), I hope it will become a valuable resource for many people trying to switch to greener fuels. More details on the Fuel Price website.

Ever seen an image and said to yourself, feck, I could do with that on my wall about 8×6 size! Pity it can’t be done (at home)! Well, enter the Rastorbator! Download Rastorbator at: http://arje.net/rasterbator. As far as I can tell, this software allows you to create large images from a much smaller one, print it out onto multiple sheets, then stitch them together! I think I could it could replace wallpaper! Make your own!
